General Information for ALL Weight Loss Programs

1. What sets our premier medical weight loss services apart from other offices?
  • Our physicians have personally struggled with being overweight for years.
  • That’s right our physicians, like yourself, have struggled with their weight for many years. Each of our physicians has lost 60 pounds or more using our methods. We know how hard it is to lose weight and how discouraging it can be when you try and fail. We love helping others and we are committed to helping you achieve your weight loss goals.

  • At each visit you are evaluated by a board certified, fully licensed physician.
  • We offer safe and effective weight management services. Initially, your physician will conduct a detailed physical examination, including lab tests, in order determine your current health status. This information is then used to determine if you are suitable for a weight loss program and, if so which of our programs would best suit your needs. You will meet regularly with your doctor to monitor your progress.

  • Our physicians are on-site and available by appointment.
  • We do not hire medical assistants to administer our effective weight loss programs; you will meet face to face with your doctor regularly. Your progress is tracked at each visit and your personal physician will address any questions you have about your weight loss.

  • We are not a one-size-fits-all weight loss clinic.
  • We are not a “pill farm”. We do not give you medication or supplements to speed up your metabolism or to magically make fat “disappear”. We listen to your history and perform a physical examination and laboratory evaluation to determine how to best help you achieve both your health and weight loss goals. What works for one patient, may not work for another patient. We work with you and your body to find the right program that is going to help you achieve your health and weight loss goals. Our programs have a proven, scientific reason for how they work.

  • We educate you about proper nutrition, exercise and lifestyle to help you optimize your health.
  • Many of our patients suffer from heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and other medical problems from years of being overweight. Many of these diseases are diet related and will be helped by achieving your optimal weight. We also have safe, natural methods that we are able to use to reduce the aches and pains that can happen when starting an exercise program.

  • Phase 3 – 3 weeks

20. Do I have to complete all of the phases?

  • The amount of weight that is typically lost during the hCG diet varies greatly.

  • Women typically lose less weight than men.

22. Is the hCG diet ‘safe’?

  • At the present time there are no long term studies that confirm or deny the safety of using hCG as an adjunct to a very low calorie diet.
  • Very low calorie diets cannot be tolerated by all patients and physician monitoring is essential for patient safety.
  • The amount of hCG used for weight loss is small but it is a hormone that can and does affect the body. You, the patient, must determine if the risks of being overweight outweigh the risk of dieting with hCG.
